Recruiting Forum

Students as part of our entrepreneurial future

Text

Idea: Offer Recruiting Forums at Universities.

A recruiting forum would be an event where the Senat and their members (exisiting companies) participate and engage with students. The forum takes place during a certain day and time, either online or in person. Students should have the opportunity to look at the different offers (online) before the forum takes place. For example: What kind of companies will participate? What do they offer? Which companies interest me most as a student and why? It should also be possible to arrange specific consulting or information appointments with companies for the day of the forum in advance in order to be able to prepare. It would be best if participation in the forum were compulsory and recognized as part of a seminar of the degree programme. In this way, young people who might not have looked directly for the Senat would be addressed. Through compulsory participation, many people get to know the Senat and what it has to offer. The more attractive and engaging the forum is designed, the more interested students will be. Of course, the appropriate study programmes should be included in the forum. Nevertheless, it is important to make the choice of participating study programmes broad, as students from various study programmes are possible future entrepreneurs.
Through the contact between young (future) entrepreneurs and companies that have been around for a long time, a lot of knowledge can be exchanged.
