"Digitalization" for family businesses
Family businesses still often work with old structures. When the generation changes, the new one has to take care of digitization.

If you look at the target group, you can see that the Senate wants to address both start-up founders and young family businesses. Start-ups are inherently more in tune with the times and know that without digital structures it is difficult to re-establish and hold their own in a market. Family businesses can (but don't have to!) still operate in a very analog way in their structures and may still feel that this is good and right. If the generation in the company changes, it is the next generation that has already grown up digitally. They are likely to recognize the family business's need for digitization more often.
So why not split up the member offerings specifically for startups and young family entrepreneurs - or use the knowledge of the startups with regard to digitization? The idea here is, on the one hand, that young family businesses need digital training. The Senate can advertise digital experience here and offer training and lectures in the "member package for young family entrepreneurs". Secondly, the Senate can offer a platform on which young start-up founders can pass on their knowledge of digitization to young family entrepreneurs through an exchange. Special events can be created for this purpose. With regard to the costs, it could be considered to relieve the start-ups if they commit themselves to participate in such events and to pass on their knowledge. In general, it makes such events more attractive if they are already included in the membership fee for the first year.
