What: I think it's a good idea to expand the recruiting model. There is already a large network of existing members in the Senat. They can be offered that they get a bonus if they bring in a new member.

What can the bonus look like? There can be several possibilities for the bonus. First, they might offer the existing member, as well as the new member, a discount on their next membership fee. Secondly, it could be done for example through an "Award" ticket. So for example both members can visit an event of the Senat together. This would incentivise recommendations that are based on the Senats offering instead of handing out money. It is important to know the needs of the existing members and to adjust the bonus accordingly.

This can be done, for example, through a joining code. If a member convinces a new member about the Senat and they decide to join, they can simply contact the Senat with a code like: "member_recruits_member" and add through whom they came to the senate.

Why? This model is very easy and quick to implement. The existing network knows best why they joined the Senat and where they see their benefits in it. They can pass that to their own network because recommendation are important to networks and are one of the most effective advertising tools. People trust a person they know better than an advertisement they see or if they are contacted by strangers. Especially for young entrepreneurs and startups, networking plays a major role. They network with like-minded people and other founders as well as with established companies in the industry. Since they are not yet that experienced themselves, they rely a lot on more experienced entrepreneurs from established companies. If such an established company is already with the Senat and recommends it as attractive to the young company, it might be a good chance that the startup will join the Senat as well. If the startup is equally enthusiastic about the Senat, this will again provide a recommendation to other startups, and so on.

• Easy and quick to implement
• Incentive for both existing and new members
• Strengthen network effects

Challenge: The Senate will likely need to expand its offerings to young companies and startups before this model can be implemented.
